- In this website the sections are: National Directory, Regional Councils, origin and evolution, the union's activities, gender issues, publications. Throught this website, I can know everything about my future profession. I can know all about diseases to my area and I can know the activities of midwives in the different levels of attention, for example primary, secondary and tertiary care. In the section of national directory there all photos of members and their year of graduation. This website has a virtual library that is very useful for our studies and the website has a training and development too, also in this site are all current news, for this i am always informed, for example the most important news at this time is about the delivery that happened in the health service in the "San Jose" hospital.

I like this site because this site is very important becouse in a section is the job vacancies, it is very necessary for our future work.

I recommend this site to all people who want to be informed about what is happening in the health of the country.

A terrible experience whit the earthquake !

Anybody imagine that the earthquake would be the morning of 27/02/2010 in the center and south of the country.

I was in the sister"s house when to the 3 45 am was the earthquake, I was on the second floor of the house, and I was very scared because I had that to go downstairs. I dont know how to climb down the ladder, but in seconds I was on the first floor of the house.

Fortunately for us, nothing happened in the sister's house, but the telephone communications were not working and we were very worried for my parents because my parents house is very old and my mother is very nervous but they were well.

The precariousness of the infrastructure, the social organization, the access to information, the ability to react to the emergency were not the best, for this unfortunately many people died, and now many people dont have place to live...

My first post

Hello, my name is Camila Albornoz and this is my first blog, I am 20 years old and I am studing obstetrics at the medicine faculty in the Universidad de Chile.

I live whit my parents, my sister and my daughter. I have three sisters and one brother, but only one sister living with me

My university is enormous and this is on Independencia street. I enter to the university the year 2009, for this, this is my second year studing obstetrics. I love the degree because I will can help women in their most important stage of the life.

I created this blog, because of this form I will can share my thoughts and opinions.
